Hamot Health Foundation is proud to announce the funding of three new automated external defibrillators (AED) for the electrophysiology lab (EP) at UPMC Hamot.

On Sept. 3, the Erie community received incredible news with far-reaching, transformational implications — the establishment of Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) in Erie. This is the first-ever expansion of MWRI, a prestigious Pittsburgh-based facility dedicated to research focused on the health of women and infants.

This is a historic day for Hamot Health Foundation and our community! Today, Hamot Health Foundation is accepting a $6 million grant from The Erie Community Foundation. This is the largest grant awarded by The Erie Community Foundation or received by Hamot Health Foundation in the history of either organization.
