Youth Leadership Institute

“Maybe Harvard” was the answer that Nyrie gave when we asked where he was thinking about applying to college.

That was a surprising answer considering he hadn’t thought much about college before he joined the Youth Leadership Institute of Erie.

Last month, Hamot Health Foundation was proud to grant $6,000 from the Next Generation Fund to help the future leaders at Youth Leadership Institute of Erie continue chasing their dreams. “The work that the Leadership Institute does to prepare high school students for the future is inspiring,” said Boo Hagerty, president of Hamot Health Foundation. “These are young men and women who are going to have great careers and be leaders in their own right, and we're proud to be a part of that.”
