Nursing Education Funds

Supporting nursing education - for our current nurses and students at the UPMC Jameson School of Nursing at UPMC Hamot - reinforces the link between nursing excellence and superior quality patient care for which we are known.

Hamot Health Foundation Cancer Funds

Following the formation of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie, generous donors helped to form the Hamot Health Foundation Cancer Fund and the SLM Breast Cancer Fund at Hamot Health Foundation. Since 2019, the Hamot Health Foundation Cancer Fund has been utilized to advance clinical cancer services at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie, while the Sandra Lynn Martin (SLM) Breast Cancer Fund is designated to meet critical personal needs faced by cancer patients and their loved ones.

Guardian Angel Program

The Guardian Angel Program provides an opportunity for you to say thank you to a UPMC Hamot employee who delivered exceptional care to you or a loved one through a philanthropic gift.

Magee-Womens Research Fund

The expansion of the Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) to Erie underscores the remarkable growth of medical research at UPMC Hamot. Research creates access to advanced clinical capabilities in our community, attracts highly skilled medical talent, creates health care and academic partnerships, and bolsters the local economy.

Family Hospice Fund

Providing support of our compassionate professionals at the bedside, offering not only medical expertise but also their time and presence to more than 400 terminally ill patients and their families each year. The Family Hospice of Erie Fund helps with comfort measures, creating special occasions and experiences, supporting our bereaved families, and much more.
