HHF’s first-ever Fun Run was a soaring success! On October 4, 2025, over 280 participants laced up their sneakers and joined us on the tarmac at North Coast Air, helping us raise over $14,000 for the Children’s Care Fund.

On October 16, HHF hosted a leadership luncheon at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront hotel, offering corporators and board members the opportunity to connect and hear updates from HHF and UPMC Hamot.

In honor of their daughter Anna Clare, local couple Dave and Jen Markiewicz have teamed up with HHF to host Friendsgiving — a Friends-themed fundraiser inspired by the television show Anna most adored.

Because of caring donors like you, patients have received help keeping the lights on, staying in their homes, and affording the medications that keep them well enough to continue their fight. Your generosity not only relieves the growing pressures surrounding a diagnosis but also brings moments of comfort, relief, and hope when they are needed most.

On Saturday, October 4, from 8–10 A.M., Hamot Health Foundation, alongside presenting sponsor Erie Strayer Company, is inviting families to walk or run a one-mile course right on the runway at North Coast Air at Erie International Airport.

On Erie Gives Day, our community showed up in a big way for Hamot Health Foundation — and thanks to your generosity, we are celebrating one of our strongest showings to date.
