News of the establishment of UPMC Jameson School of Nursing at UPMC Hamot is reverberating throughout the community. This brand new institute is the result of a partnership between UPMC Hamot, UPMC Jameson, Hamot Health Foundation, and Gannon University.

The project found a perfect nest within a creative social endeavor now under construction at the site of Erie’s former Wayne School, where the 100-year-old school building is being transformed into a community hub to promote and house education, wellness, the arts, and, above all, hope.

With its tall and gleaming facade, the new $111 million Patient Care Tower is a powerful representation of UPMC Hamot’s exceptional growth and cutting-edge care — and there are ​exclusive naming opportunities are still available.

Hamot Health Foundation is proud to feature volunteerism at UPMC Hamot. All nonstudent volunteers in our hospital are coordinated through UPMC Hamot Aid Society.
