Wellness on Wheels: RAM Clinic to Mobilize in Erie

RAM logo 1536x994

On September 7th, Hamot Health Foundation and Build CDC will host a Remote Access Medical (RAM) Clinic at the ECAT Wayne building in Erie, offering free health, dental, and vision services to community members. Through improved access and removing the element of cost, the RAM Clinic will knock down traditional barriers to health in Erie.

Individuals seeking care can choose from a range of services, including dental exams, including fillings or extractions, vision exams with the ability to receive prescription glasses the same-day, and medical care like physicals and women’s health exams. All services are free and open to the public.

RAM Clinics have convened in cities across the U.S., serving over 910,000 individuals in their 38-year history. September’s clinic will be Erie’s first. Clinic doors will open at 6am on September 7th at 650 East Avenue, Suite 120.

If interested in volunteering, we are currently seeking the following: women's health providers, nurses, and general (non-medical) support. Contact Sarah Prylinski and plan to join us for this momentous event!
