Taking Patient Care to New Heights

UPMC Hamot opened the doors to our new $111 million patient care tower on Feb. 2, marking the completion of the largest construction project in the hospital’s 140-year history.

The tower features 64 state-of-the-art ICU patient rooms.

We have had an overwhelming response from those wishing to dedicate space in the tower to honor their family, memorialize a loved one, or recognize someone who has impacted their life, their health, or their career.
