ECAT Wayne Celebrates Four Years

ECAT recently celebrated four years of helping Erie residents build meaningful careers and inspiring youth through the arts.
Since opening in August 2021, ECAT has graduated 111 adults in its career training programs, who entered high-demand fields like healthcare and construction trades. The hands-on training opportunities leads to apprenticeships and employment-readiness so graduates can hit the ground running.

At the same time, the youth arts programming has engaged 453 students, giving young people creative outlets, confidence, and skills that translate to school, work, and personal growth. By combining career training for adults with arts enrichment for youth, ECAT creates a unique environment meant to inspire and motivate.

Beyond that, it provides opportunities to build community. From health fairs and art shows to trunk-or-treats and athletic competitions, the ECAT campus is home is a variety of family-friendly events year-round.
As we celebrate its fourth anniversary, ECAT's impact in our community is clear: career training has changed lives, creativity has fostered a spark in the next generation, and Erie is stronger and more vibrant as a result.
