"Going through my breast cancer journey was stressful enough. This foundation makes things a little less stressful with the help they provided me and my family."
“Thank you for helping me. You are super in heart, thought, and deed. When my lights started to dim, you gave me great sunshine and peace toward tomorrow and the future”
"You learn to deal with the cancer diagnosis fairly quickly, but in the beginning, your head is spinning. I was swept into a chasm of great uncertainty, unsure what the future would bring and what impact it would have on my family. The help I received reminded me of a former time when neighbors cared for neighbors. The way life used to be - when a person’s community rallied to help them during a time of need. That’s how it felt."
"With the help of the SLM grant two of my bills did not go to collection. This was a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. Every morning I wake up with a grateful heart for the help I received."
