The Epilepsy Project
Hamot Health Foundation is pleased to support the important mission of The Epilepsy Project.
This nonprofit organization aims to educate the general public in order to break stigmas about seizure disorders. It works to provide educational programs and host community events to promote awareness.
HHF’s role is to support the organization’s efforts on behalf of children through use of the Children’s Care Fund. One successful example of this support is the Epilepsy Project’s offering of sensory-friendly children’s films. The idea of sensory-friendly events is to offer performances to inclusive audiences that allow for a safe experience for those with sensory sensitivities.
The Epilepsy Project held its sixth annual Noble Night fundraiser gala on Nov. 2, at the Ambassador Center. Jaimee Black from Hamot Health Foundation was honored for her outstanding responsiveness to the needs of the Epilepsy Project organization.
