Project 20/20

The name Hamot has been attached to health care for 138 years.

From UPMC Hamot’s humble beginnings in 1881 to today’s international presence, Project 20/20 represents the largest single construction project in the history of this hospital.

The project consists of a $111 million, seven-floor patient tower to be used for cardiac, trauma, and general care. Presently under construction on the UPMC Hamot campus, the project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2020. Project 20/20 is ready to “top off” and the last steel beam of this long-awaited tower is about to be set. Two special events will mark the occasion.
