Save the date for Hamot Health Foundation’s 8th Annual Gala on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Bayfront Convention Center!

Hamot Health Foundation purchased 100 reusable Joeybands for the UPMC Hamot Mother/Baby Unit this month in order to increase safe skin-to-skin time between moms and their newborns.

Hamot Health Foundation helped lay the groundwork for a new program at Safe Harbor Behavioral Health of UPMC Hamot by funding state-sanctioned training for the supervision of certified recovery specialists.

We’d like to extend our sincerest thanks to EE Austin & Son for donating their services to level the site in preparation for construction in early September.

We are pleased to announce that Katie King joined the Hamot Health Foundation team last month as our new volunteer coordinator. Katie will be working with UPMC Hamot Aid Society to provide attentive support and to bolster volunteer services.
