During an emergency session, the Hamot Health Foundation Board of Trustees authorized the immediate allocation of up to $900,000 in funds to purchase any additional inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary.

Local blood supplies experience critical levels. UPMC Hamot recently partnered with the Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York to hold a blood drive at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital–UPMC Hamot Campus.
