High Five for Kids Turns One
Last summer, we launched the High Five for Kids campaign.
It began on June 27, 2024, to support the Children's Care Fund through a monthly donation of $5. Children thrive on the simplest gestures of care, like a high five! With High Five for Kids, our community can show how much they care, today and tomorrow.
As the campaign turns one, take a look at the impact our donors have made.

78 Total Donors
43 of these have donated every month since launch

1,453 Total Donations
That's over 290 high-fives given!

$17.025 Total Raised
$11.72 average amount per donation, $218.27 average amount per donor
Recurring, monthly giving in amounts as little as $5 has a significant impact over time, fueling HHF's ability to meet the health care needs of local children and their families.
In just one year, the amount we've raised can:
- Fund a whole year of short-term housing for families with children in the NICU
- Cover travel expenses for pediatric patients transferred to UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh
- Expand specialty pediatric care in Erie
- Provide salary support for a Child Life Specialist, a role that helps children and families cope with the stress of illness, hospitalization, and medical procedures through play, education, and emotional support
