Hamot Health Foundation Announces Inaugural "Runway Fun Run"

In collaboration with North Coast Air at Erie International Airport, families are invited for a morning of high-flying fun! Walk, run, or stroll an actual landing strip at the airport and get a close-up look at airplanes and other airport vehicles.

Hamot Health Foundation’s inaugural Runway Fun Run (pres. by Erie Strayer Company) is a one-mile walk, run, or stroll for families on North Coast Air’s runway at the Erie International Airport. Attendees will get an exclusive opportunity to get an up-close look at airplanes and other airport vehicles while stepping on the same landing strip where planes arrive and depart from Erie.

The fun-for-all-ages fundraising event takes place from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 4 and benefits the Foundation’s Children’s Care Fund.

The cost to attend this Fall morning of fun is $25 for adults, $15 for children 12-and-under, and tickets can be purchased now by clicking HERE or the button below.

All attendees will receive a free Runway Fun Run t-shirt for signing up, with all proceeds from the event benefiting the advancement of care for local kids. Tickets will only be available for purchase in advance, and not on the day of the event or at the event itself.

Sponsorship opportunities for Runway Fun Run are also available for interested individuals and organizations looking to make a larger impact for children in Erie.
