A Special Holiday Lunch

HHF hosted the UPMC Hamot Aid Society Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 4th at the Kahkwa Club.

This is our annual moment to pause, gather, and say thank you to the volunteers who give so generously of their time at UPMC Hamot.

Throughout the year, these volunteers show up with compassion and purpose, making an incredible difference for patients and staff alike. But as 2025 comes to a close, there was even more to celebrate.

HHF’s Patient Outreach Fund

Going above and beyond their everyday service, the UPMC Hamot Aid Society announced a $10,000 pledge to HHF’s Patient Outreach Fund. A vital safety net, this fund helps cover transportation, lodging, meals, and other essentials that can stand in the way of healing.

Beyond the hospital, the Hamot Aid Society's spirit of generosity continues.

Many volunteers arrived at lunch with donations of blankets and coats for BUILD CDC's street outreach team. These items will help provide warmth and dignity to our community's most vulnerable neighbors this winter.
