94.7 “Bob Plays Anything” Recap

The fifth annual 94.7 “Bob Plays Anything for Children” radiothon was a huge success thanks to the support of Connoisseur Media, Burger King, and so many of you!

We don’t have a final tally quite yet, but we know that we raised over $10,000 for the Children’s Care Fund!

Joe Lang and his son Evan, who battled pediatric cancer at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, broadcasted live from the 26th and Peninsula Burger King to raise money and awareness for the Children’s Care Fund. They introduced listeners to local individuals who have been personally touched by the fund and pediatric care at UPMC.

From 6 months to 22 years old, these patients and their parents shared stories that personified hope, bravery, and resilience. We are honored and humbled to have been a part of their story.
